Uttaradit is about 400 km. from the capital Bangkok. It takes about 5 hours by car. It also has a direct link by train and bus from Bangkok. The house is in the village of Thong Saen Khan which is 38 km. South of Uttaradit City. In the village is a Bangkok Bank, Post Office and a large local market. The village also has 2 schools and the local shops stock most items. The village is linked by a bust route to Uttaradit City. The living costs are very low and is ideal location for a retirement home or a place just to get away from the pressures of life. The Foreign population is growing but it is a basically a Thai village with all the culture that embraces.
